Are you ready to go around the world?

Today we talk with Tânia, fashion blogger of  La Coquette Misérable!

Hi, tell us a little bit about yourself!

My name is Tânia Dioespirro, and I am one of the three owners of La Coquette Misérable.
Our blog is still a baby, we started it on June 2012, after a coffee-table conversation because at the time I was a winner of the Zara People contest multiple times, and they had a field in the submission form to include a link for a fashion Blog. My dear 'Coquettes' Cris and Mary always were very enthusiasts about blogs and trends so, they immediately thought this project was a good idea. We are all Graphic Designers from Oporto (Portugal) and at the moment Chris is working on a magazine about classic cars, Mary is working as a freelancer, and me, after 9 years working as a model, am working now as the communication designer of a fashion luxury brands Company. We all have a crush for design (obviously), illustration and many artistic areas so, in our blog, we don't only feature fashion but also other subjects that we like. We have a lot of spontaneous post, but we also have some continuous rubrics like 'Misérable Finds', 'Misérable Outfits', 'La Coquttemania' etc... The feedback as been amazing, we never thought we could reach so many readers all over the world in a few time.

Describe fashion in the city where you live.

As I've told you I'm from Porto, actually, the three of us are. Oporto is an amazing city, with a lot of artistic, music and fashion stuff happening specially for the last ten years. I can tell that that people started to be more comfortable expressing their creativity in the way they dress up. The young generations are very careful about their style, but you can also find 70 year old ladies who are extremely stylish and shopping in the best boutiques. Oporto still isn't Paris or London, but I think we are taking our time to get in that point of sense of style.

What do you think is the best piece in the Nikki Rich Fall Collection?

I love this piece from Nikki Rich Fall Collection...

Nikki Rich

I think it tottaly fits in the fashion spirit of my city because Oporto is a cold place in the winter, and you can wear it during the day in a confortable look with a nice knit and overcoat, but you can feel ready for those days that you get out of work and go for dinner and for a drink and even for the dance floor without feeling worried because you couldn' go home to change. It's a dress that fits every situations!
