Fashion Blogger Interview: 5 min with Catherine of Coco, Le Freak, c'est Chic.

Today we meet Catherine, the blogger of Coco, Le Freak, c'est Chic.
She's is an east London based stylist and style journalist with a heavy addiction to all things sartorial and style.

Hi Catherine, tell us a little bit about yourself (who you are/what you do/where you’re from, etc.).
I’m a freelance stylist and fashion editor, living in east London.

How would you define your style?
A mix of highstreet and vintage pieces combined with a slightly polished goth look- I love kimonos and black.

How did you choose the name of your blog?
It came from a mix of a nickname and a seventies disco song!

What are your favourite pieces in your wardrobe?
Black leather leggings, silk shirts and my vintage kimonos.

What is your top fashion tip?
Always go for clothes that you feel comfortable and yourself in.

What advice do you have for new bloggers or people considering starting a blog?
Don’t get caught up in writing about what you ‘think’ you should write about. Stay true to yourself and write about things you like.

Your first thought in the morning?
COFFEE!

What is your favourite thing to do when not blogging?
Spending time with friends and family is the best downtime between blogging and work.

How would you describe fashion in the city where you live?
London is eclectic and relaxed in style. Everyone has their own style and interpret trends in their own ways.

What message do you hope to send to your readers?
Be yourself and enjoy it. Don’t worry about ‘fitting in’ my philosophy is that anything can be ‘cool’ if you wear it right.
