Today we talk with Ruxandra, fashion blogger of From Brussels, with love!

Hi, tell us a little bit about yourself!

Hy! My name is Ruxandra Ioana, I'm a fashion blogger from Brussels, Belgium. I'm originally from Romania, but I've moved to Brussels like three and a half years ago. I've always loved fashion, clothes and I always wanted a way to express myself, so one day I've discovered this wonderful universe of blogging and I said to myself that it was worth trying. At first, I was really shy of the camera, so I did plain posts (call them "tips" if you like). Actually, come to think of it, my blog was first called " Every day tips", afterwards turning into "From Brussels, with Love". So from March last year ( 2012), I've started to blog more seriously, doing a lot of personal style posts (ootds). I must say that living in Brussels wasn't easy at first. I didn't had any time for myself and all I did was work, work, work! So now, I'm very happy with my new job as a secretary cause I do most of my work at home, which allows me to write on my blog as well.

Describe fashion in the city where you live.

Well the most appropriate word for the fashion world in Brussels must be "variety" . This city has evolved to the point where its belgium identity has faded. So it's one big mix of races from all around the world having different styles and different ways to express their fashion perspectives, thus you cannot have an exact style that dominates.

What do you think is the best piece in the Nikki Rich Fall 2012 Collection?

I would say the wool blend, tie detail back, woven/knit shawl sweater.

It's exactly as I see Brussels - from the back you think it's simple, but when it turns around, you see it's more complicated and more alive than you ever thought it would be. A crowded city where you never know what tomorrow brings.
